The Rutgers University women's basketball team spoke out against the Imus controversy on Oprah's television show on Thursday. The team discussed the situation, their feelings about it, and their reaction to the events following his comments.

Did Fergie Send Alanis A Mixed Message?
After the video for Alanis Morissette's version of the Black Eyed Peas song "My Humps" became a sensation on YouTube, Fergie sent Alanis a congratulatory cake, but not just any cake. A source says Fergie "thought the video was brilliant. She sent Morissette a cake in the shape of a derriere." According to a Rosa Leung from Exotic Cakes in Los Angeles, a note on the flesh-colored cake read, "Alanis, you're a genius. Love, Fergie". The bakery made the specially ordered cake and delivered it to Morissette last Friday.






Janet Jackson Sued Over Choking Incident
Janet Jackson is being sued for $120 million for an alleged choking incident. A man alleges that two of Janet's bodyguards grabbed him and choked him when he attempted to pass the singer a note at a club in 2004. Lawyers for Janet were hoping to overturn the case, but a judge decided against it. He said that despite saying she only had one bodyguard with her and boyfriend Jermaine Dupri, representatives for the club say she had three. The judge said, "Not withstanding the counsel's valiant effort to shield Ms Jackson, the law grants no exemptions based on celebrity status."




The Donald Is 2007's Unsexiest
Everybody's got a "sexiest" list. However, ThePhoenix.com came out with an Unsexiest list. It's the Unsexiest Men 2007, and Donald Trump is leading the charge.






Courtney Love's Dramatic Weight Loss
The New York Post reported yesterday that Courtney Love's new skinny look is due to gastric band surgery. That's where they basically tighten a belt-like device around your stomach, blocking a part of it off so you can't jam as much food into it. The Post said, "She's telling people she go the gastric band surgery. She even said she had to sleep with a towel by her because the surgery makes her vomit all the time and she is worried she won't be able to make out with anyone because of her breath". Courtney's rep says this is not true and that Courtney brought her weight down with a macrobiotic diet and yoga.




The Most Expensive Celeb Divorces
Basketball great Michael Jordan, singer-songwriter Neil Diamond and Oscar-winning director Steven Spielberg top a new Forbes magazine list of the most costly divorce settlements of the stars. Jordan's pending divorce from his wife of nearly 18 years, Chicago bank officer Juanita Vanoy, could end up as the most expensive in entertainment history that's if his estranged spouse walks away with half his fortune. With Jordan having earned much of his wealth during his marriage, most of it through endorsement deals, his ex stands to collect more than $150 million. A close second would be the estimated $150 million settlement Neil Diamond paid to onetime TV production assistant Marcia Murphey, whom he married in 1969 before his breakthrough album, "Touching You, Touching Me," went gold. They divorced in 1996.





Lindsay Lohan and Colin Farrell Hook Up
Lindsay Lohan and Colin Farrell have reportedly teamed up for the drama "Borgia", a period piece about the internal struggles of the most powerful family in 15th century Rome. It tells the story of Cardinal Rodrigo Borgia, a powerful man who took over papal duties after the death of the pope in 1492. Lindsay will play Rodrigo’s daughter Lucrezia Borgia, who’s torn between her family duties and a desire to find true love. Colin will play Rodrigo’s youngest son Cesare, a duplicitous and manipulative sibling who considers himself his sister’s closest confidante. The role of Rodrigo Borgia has yet to be cast. Filming is expected to start in late 2007 in Rome, Italy. You can expect "romantic rumors" about these two any day now.





Girls Gone Wild Creator Busted... In Jail
The "Girl Gone Wild" guru Joe Francis couldn't hold back tears yesterday, as charges were piling up on him. Joe Francis told his parents, “I didn’t do anything,” as he was being led from a federal courtroom in Panama City. Francis was in U.S. Magistrate Larry Bodiford’s court for a scheduled bond hearing to see if he could be released from the Bay County Jail pending an April 23 hearing to determine if he is guilty of criminal contempt of court. Instead, after a 30-minute meeting with his lawyers, Francis waived his hearing and returned to jail. But prosecutors say he's now facing eight new charges. Seems Francis offered a jail guard $100 for a bottled water Wednesday evening. When the guard refused, Francis offered him $500 and showed him the currency. Inmates aren’t allowed to have cash in the jail.



Is Hulk Hogan Calling It Quits?
Gossip magazine The National Enquirer reports Hulk Hogan may be secretly meeting with a divorce lawyer to end his marriage of 23 years to his wife, Linda. But despite that, the two are still together taping the fourth season of the reality show “Hogan Knows Best.” The tabloid quotes a source show says, ”The marriage is over. The show is the glue that’s keeping them together. It’s Hulk who wants out. With the kids grown, he feels it’s time to move on.” The source also told The Enquirer: ”they’re not hiding their problems from the cameras. But what hasn’t been filmed is the fact that Hulk secretly consulted a divorce attorney.”

I don't know who would agree with this more than myself, or Rosie O'Donnell. The Donald definitely belongs as the headliner of this prestigious award.
