'Out' Releases Gay Power List
Most of the celebrities and tycoons on Out magazine's first Gay Power List, on newsstands Apr. 17, will probably be grateful for the honor, but maybe not the two on the cover. That's because Anderson Cooper and Jodie Foster have never publicly identified themselves as gay, though neither has ever denied the speculation, either. Out editor in chief Aaron Hicklin says it wasn't merely an attempt to stir up controversy. "The A-list and even B-list gays are mostly in the closet still, and those are the kinds of people we need to have on our cover. This is a way of addressing that."
Heather Mills' Breakdown
Heather Mills got emotional yesterday morning on Ryan Seacrest's morning radio show, after a former hater said that everyone should apologize for every bad thing they've ever said about Heather. A woman called in to the show and said she was ashamed and embarrassed that she’d judged Heather based on the media saying that she was after Paul McCartney’s money. The woman also said that people should apologize to Heather because she was wrongfully treated. Heather then broke down in tears and said that all she did was fall madly in love with somebody and give up her life for seven years." She also added that if she were a gold digger, she would be a very wealthy woman by now and she claims that she is not.
Former Miss USA Gets The Boot
She may have taken the Miss USA title in 2004, but Shandi Finnessey won't be crowned the winner of "Dancing With the Stars." After ranking in the bottom two last week, Finnessey was eliminated last night. The game show host and former beauty queen said that her experience on the show was "amazing" and that working with her professional dance partner, Brian Fortuna, was "great."
Usher's Fiance May Be Pregnant
Reports have been flying around that Usher's fiancé, Tameka Foster, is pregnant and he may not be the baby’s father. Now, an alleged 'insider' from Usher's camp says that there's no way Usher is not the father because the pregnancy was planned, and Tameka may have even used fertility drugs to get pregnant. The insider says that the couple is not talking about the baby because it is an extremely high risk pregnancy, possibly because she's 39 years old.
Congrats To Scary Spice! It's A Girl!
Mel B, aka Scary Spice, gave birth to a baby girl shortly after midnight yesterday at St. Johns Hospital in Santa Monica. The baby weighed in at 5 pounds and 4 ounces with a head full of hair, but the baby doesn’t have a name yet. Of course, the baby’s possible father, Eddie Murphy, was not in the delivery room, but if DNA tests prove that this is his child, they will share the same birthday, since he turned 46 yesterday! Mel Brown drove herself to the hospital after her water broke at home. She chose not to mess around with ambulances, driving herself to the hospital when she knew her baby was on its way. An insider tells "Extra", "The first signs the baby was on the way came during the afternoon when Melanie's waters broke and initial contractions began. Melanie was on her own in the house at that stage so she drove herself to the hospital, rather than spend precious minutes phoning (for) an ambulance."
Keith Richards 'Snorts' His Dad
Keith Richards told the British music magazine "NME" how he snorted his dead father's ashes. Keith said, "He was cremated and I couldn't resist grinding him up with a little bit of blow. My dad wouldn't have cared. It went pretty well, and I’m still alive." Keith is 63 years old now, and his father was in his 80s when he died in 2002. MTV News went to Keith's spokeswoman, and she said he was kidding. Keith also told "NME" that he doesn’t recommend his lifestyle to today’s young musicians. He said, "I did it because that was the way I did it. Now people think it's a way of life. I was Number One on the 'who's likely to die' list for 10 years. I mean, I was really disappointed when I fell off the list."

Howard K. Stern Loses DNA Appeal
Anna Nicole Smith's companion/lawyer Howard K. Stern has lost his battle to block the release of DNA results that could 'out' the biological father of the tragic model's baby daughter. Stern is named as baby Dannielynn's father on her birth certificate, and was challenged for paternity by Anna Nicole's ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead, who claims he's the child's real father. The six-month-old's DNA was tested on March 21st, but the results have not been given. Yesterday, a three-judge panel of the Court Of Appeal in the Bahamas, where the paternity battle is taking place, told Stern he filed his challenge too late and should have raised his objections before the Supreme Court ordered the DNA testing. The Supreme Court is scheduled to hold a hearing in the paternity case today.
Are John And Jessica Settling Down?
According to Star Magazine, Jessica Simpson's, 26, on-again romance with singer John Mayer, 29, is so hot that the couple was reportedly seen checking out diamond rings at Cartier on March 8 during their six-day trip to Rome. And John has been telling friends "she's the one he wants to settle down and start a family with," says a source. "He says, 'She has all the right ingredients, and she makes me laugh.'" Jessica has certainly revamped her image for him, from toning down the skin-baring clothes to going brunette. John, meanwhile, has been a willing fashion student, joining Jessica on her many shopping trips. It's an unlikely pairing, but apparently he's found his soul mate. He had wanted to have "a wife, a home, a degree of stability" before he turned 30, just six months away, says the source. "The clock is ticking for him!"
Is Angelina Adopting Again?
A Britain tabloid says that Angelina Jolie is ready to adopt another kid, after falling in love with a baby girl from the African nation of Chad. Supposedly, Angelina and Brad Pitt want an African baby girl so that Zahara, their adopted daughter from Ethiopia, doesn't "feel alienated as the only black face in their family." A source says they hope to have the kid by the summer. Angelina and Brad have two adopted Asian kids, Maddox from Cambodia and the recently-acquired Pax Thien from Vietnam. Then they have their biological child, Shiloh, which makes three Caucasian faces in the Jolie-Pitt household.
Jennifer Lopez Is Not J.Lo Anymore
London's The Guardian newspaper caught up with Jennifer Lopez, who said, "I'm not J.Lo anymore. That's all gone with all the ridiculous stories about diva tantrums and Egyptian sheets. That's all my past. I'm Jennifer Lopez. I think, as a woman, I've finally grown more sure of who I am." She says, "When I went in to record a song, it would just be the voice I was focusing in on. My anxieties made me shut off a lot to the emotions of the music. If you think too hard or worry too much, you just don't free yourself as a performer." What made her stop worrying about her voice? Her third husband, Marc Anthony. She says, "I remember on the first day we recorded, I went into the booth and he was watching me. As usual, I was thinking about my voice. The song I was about to record was a beautiful ballad. Marc just looked at me and he said, 'Jennifer, read the words, sing the words. Don't think about your voice, think about what you are singing.' It was amazing. I started to sing and after a few minutes I entirely forgot all my anxieties about my voice."

Jessica Biel beat out her alleged one-time love rival Scarlett Johansson to the top of a new Sexiest Women poll. Both actresses were romantically linked to Justin Timberlake at the beginning of 2007, although Johansson recently denied she dated him. Seacrest Predicts Jordin Will Win
Ryan Seacrest believes that 17-year-old Jordin Sparks will win this season's "American Idol" competition. Ryan tells "People" Magazine, "First of all, she's a girl. She represents fantastic qualities. She's a great singer and a pretty girl. She's non-threatening, cute and attractive. Plus, she has this sincere likeability that is rare and genuine." As for "Idol's" other remaining teenager, Sanjaya Malakar, Ryan says he blames you, the viewers at home, for his continued presence in the competition. He says, "Everywhere I go, people have been screaming at me to get rid of Sanjaya. And I say, 'Too bad, you're doing it.' But, he's an interesting character on the show. America hones in and gets rid of who needs to go and the best usually stay."
Sienna Tries To Cover Up Time Spent With Diddy
Sienna Miller's pals roughed up some paparazzi in London the other night, as she walked out of a nightclub right after Sean 'Diddy' Combs. While Diddy was friendly as he left the club, Sienna tried making an escape just minutes later. Two members of Sienna's posse got fed up with one of the snapping photogs and pushed him off the sidewalk. One of Sienna's entourage then tried to trip the photog as he ran to catch up with her, keeping him from getting a face shot as Sienna ran into The Soho Hotel. Sienna's rep Leslie Sloane, says, "It is unfair that the press isn't courteous in giving her her space. It's getting uncomfortable for people to walk and London's a walking city."
