| Leonard 'Bones' McCoy: Damnit Jim! I'm a doctor, not a physicist! Thankfully twas no dream, I found it on IMDB. That actor nailed McCoy. The whole chemistry deal works, cause it's Kirk, Spock and McCoy. Those personalitys really gel. Logic, Ego and Super Ego. (kind of like the 3 kings out of Dark Tower 7) Spock is logic, McCoy is Ego or random or the baser emotions, and Kirk is Super Ego, the one who takes and has both and makes the decision on how to act. | |

| Guy who plays McCoy fuckin' nailed DeForest Kelly's take on the character. My personal favorite part of the movie. Easily. -HECK! | |

| Yeah, I know I been a tear fest Oprah weenie lately, but when McCoy was on the shuttle going up first time we see him, I started tearing up it was so cool. Geek levels were out of control, Whidden's hormones went into geekdom overdrive. We may go see it again today. Sandy liked it. Everyone I'v met who has seen it likes it. Almost a perfect movie. Had a few plot holes, but I didn't even care it was so cool dammit. | |

| Just saw it again. A few more things: McCoy: Are you out of your Vulcan mind? McCoy: Green Blooded Hog Goblin! When the Romulan got sworded by Sulu, he had Green blood on the sword. Uhura had the giant ear piece in her ear. | |

| At the very end when Kirk has the gold uniform for the first time, he comes onto the bridge and says "Bones..." in the best Shatner-ish way. Teatro.

| I'm sure the next two will be pretty good, then Paramount will screw it up with some top execs coming in wanting to put their two cents in on the project. Then we will get back to sucky movies. But till then, we got it made baby!!! | |

| They might. Exec's are jerkwads. They swoop in with their ideas and screw up a movie bigtime. Hopefully, Abrams' can keep control of the movies, and the Parmount loser execs will keep their stupid opinions to themselves. It's a power play, no telling what will happen. But Abrams did a good job with the first one, maybe he will have the ultimate power the second time around. Me hopes, me hopes! | |

| I forgot about that. Havn't seen ST2 in some time. Abrams must have watched it before directing. Good for him. I'm glad he pulled this off, because Mission Impossible 3 kinda sucked. I was worried. Turns out my worries were crap, thank the maker. | |

It was almost like his ghost came out of the ether and picked the role back up. I loved it. Heheh, I called it, didn't I? Karl Urban did me proud. Best movie of the year, and it BETTER WIN A FREAKIN OSCAR FOR SOMETHING!!

I'm sure we'll be up to our pits in Klingons soon enough.
-HECK! This is correct, no Klingons in actor form, but they did mention them and fight them (the ships) in the simulator. So it wasn't 100% pure Klingon free. Plus I include the KINGon Burger King ads in dogma, so they show up in that. Kinda.

I seen that dude on a George Straight special a week or so back. He had a Aussie accent. He did some old Marty Robbins tunes. I really dug his voice. First time I heard him sing. Hey, I gotz a link: I don't like the first tune too much, but then he does that El Paso song, and I really dig that one. Heard it ten billion times as a wee lad. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wfk1xd6Bn5c

| Yes, he is an aussie. That makes the fact that he performs so well in Star Trek all the more impressive.
It is the same guy right? Karl, Keith.... can't be a coincidence.
