| Hmmm, Harry Potter and his friends seem to be investigating a mystery. Wonder if Voldemort is involved? Very interesting. Also, did you see that rerun of Three's Company last night with the misunderstanding? It was a hoot. -HECK! | |

| Took ages to load for me. It's a high definition thing with a bit of a 'making of' special in it. | |

| It was alright. Special effects get better in every flick. It was dark, evenly paced for the most part. But the story was pointless. The title of the movie is referenced a little toward the start, then summed up in 2 seconds at the end, and the Half-Blood Prince has nothing to do with the movie at all. And don't give me this shit that it's explained in greater detail in the book. I didn't read the book. I saw the movie. I could care less about the book. This is the movie, yes? Yes. The teenage angst part obviously wasn't aimed at my demo so I started checking my cell phone for missed calls. I liked the end. Made up for plenty. But there was a lot missing. The school didn't have the same coolness it's had in every other movie. No paintings talking shit, no ghosts, that silly fun magic was gone. Maybe its been done to death, but I dug it. Once again, I don't really know the motives behind these characters. Comes across as really contrived from time to time. I liked the last one better. This one didn't suck, but it was nothing special. | I loved the movie. I thought it was well done given that the book has a lot of details in it. Harry's first encounter with the half-blood prince is in potions class where he borrows a book that was the property of said half-blood. Suddenly the kid who did not do well in potions is the best in class. Yes, it's all there in the movie. Harry learns dangerous spells from the book. The half-blood prince guides Harry and ultimately becomes the villan in the end of the movie. | |

| I pretty much agree with HECK. I don't know what's wrong with me, but I just didn't like it that much. 3D was okay, but for some reason only the start was 3D in Taiwan (and there was nothing too exciting going on).
I dunno what I expected... I mean, I already knew the story! I just... hmm...

| i saw it for free. i went to this Dell IT technology seminar/sales-pitch, and then they showed the movie afterwards. It was actually during work hours, so technically, I was getting paid to watch the movie. They may have made me like it better. | |

| Agreed, second half was better. That Malfoy kid is wicked. Still a puss, but at least he is over the edge now.
G saw it in 3D? That would have been dope. I saw who the Half Blood Prince was, but I don't understand what it is. Half blood like one parent was a witch and the other wasn't? And what's he a prince of? Is it something he made up? The fact that he was/is a 'Half Blood Prince' has nothing to do with the movie. The kids having crushes on each other was more integral to the story. Meh.

| They put way too much emphasis on the kids kissing and what not. I was like *groan* the whole time.
The whole half-blood Prince thing made no sense in the movie. HECK, did you get that the spell that Harry used on Malfoy was a spell that he got from the book and was something that fully almost killed him? 'Cause, yeah, that's kind of a big deal. At least it was in the books.
Now they just seem to have pumped out a very generic movie.
(Only the opening scenes were in 3D. About 10 or so minutes worth).

That made me crack up. Yeah, I noticed the spell deal he used was from the book. I suppose my point is, was this supposed Half-Blood Prince, whatever that is or means, worthy of being the title of the movie? It's like if the empire in Empire Strikes Back was mentioned at the end randomly and was written on the bottom of C3PO's foot. -HECK!
