X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009)

Okay, this should be sweet. I actually have this at home and intend on watching it soon... This movie should be what the title says. That being the origin story of Wolverine. There doesn't seem to be anything in the way of hot babes in the movie, which sucks... but what can you do? Hopefully I've just missed those bits of the trailer/movie posters.

Duh, there is hot dudes in it, it doesn't need hot babes as well, that would be overkill.

Emma Frost is in it, the actress doesn't look all that great. She's hot in the comics though. That sounded sad and nerdy.

They made Sabertooth and Wolverine half-brothers. Going to have a hard time with that.

I think there's some backstory that had those two as brothers at some point. Might not be from the original comics, but somewhere along the line they did mention it, I'm sure. I'm not geeky enough to care to prove it, I'm just saying... I think... uh... never mind.

Nah, never went down like that in the comics. They are way old school enemies, but not blood related. I'm sure if the movie does really well then Marvel will fuck with Wolverine's background and insert some half-assed storyline making the two related. Who knows.

When I heard they were running with this storyline I looked up Wolverine's bio on Wiki. It outlined the different way the movie was going.

I didn't really like this movie all that much. It could have been WAY better. I'm not really sure what I was expecting, because it's not like that story was that much removed from what I was expecting. But it was just like... what the hell, you know? Where's the story and the tension and the mystery... I just felt like the movie was going through the motions...

I keep reading bad reviews, which makes me sad.

But no matter, Star Trek this friday...

I'll watch it again, just in case my first impression was wrong.

Even I'm geeked out for Star Trek. Should be dope.

I saw this movie Friday night, all the bad reviews are unjustified.

It does have a brilliant plot or anything, won't be winning any awards for acting, but it's a damn comic book movie. What are people expecting?

Maybe Dark Knight spoiled us. X-Men 3 was a turd, but Wolverine is back up to par with X-Men 1 and 2.

Definitely worth seeing.

I don't think X-Men 3 is as bad as most people make it out to be. It's not the best in the series, but it's not like Batman Forever or anything. I guess neither is Wolverine. I'll watch it again and decide what I really thought.
