The Wolverine (2013)

I really want to see this, but I'm going to wait for the blu-ray. There seems to be a nice steelbook coming out in at least one territory.

I figure the money I save not going to the cinemas pays for the blu-rays... let's just say that's true.

Lady Deathstrike makes her appearance? I don't think that the Asian chick in X-Men 2 was a good enough Deathstrike.

Well, I give X2 a pass on a lot of things (like Wolverine being knocked out by a bullet to the head?) because of what followed (The Last Stand...)

But yeah, she could have been better. I'm not sure where they've gone with the story exactly. Seems to be Wolverine saved someone in Hiroshima and the same person summons him to help him... get rid of his powers? I don't quite get that part of the trailer.

But... without his powers the metal in his bones would kill him...

Would it? I guess maybe. I thought having the adamantium injected would kill him, but once it's there... it's fine.

But you're right. He'd have no marrow or anything.

They don't disappear, his powers, it seems they gradually go. The claws are part of his powers.... wonder what happens to them, if anything.

Hmm... and he's lived so long, maybe he wants to die. Wolverine suicidal? Yeah, maybe.
