Cylon Discussion - SPOILERS!

Like I said in the vote thread, I don't think that she's the final one. I think that there are more models (if not all of 'em are somehow hybrids).

Ron Moore has been pretty straight up with his Cylon picks. Dunno. Obviously, who knows at this point.

I tend to think that Ellen Tigh was the last of the 12 Cylon models. She was the 5th and final. If there are some other wacky Cylon-type hybrid deals, or whatever the new Starbuck is, we shall see.

I took Dee's sucicide as her reaction to the whole situation. Everyone on the ship went nuts. Fights, graffiti, hopelessness... the crew lost it. Hell, Adama was about to check out. The Old Man taking himself out? President Roslin went full fetal and couldn't handle it. Dee blowing her head off was her way out. Personifies the deep loss the entire fleet has at the futility of their situation.

The whole series, 3 years, has been them looking for Earth. The fleet was able to put away all those feelings of loss from the Cylon genocide because they had hope... to find Earth. But their new 'home' is just a charred pile of space shit just like their homeworld. Very depressing. I'd go ape.

I just don't know. They promised a really big STORY LINE for Dualla this season. That wasn't a story line. That was a "BANG" and she's dead moment. So, I can't imagine that it's over. But, hey, it seems like they have a lot of plot holes.

I don't know where they are going with things... I just know that the premier was kick ass, and I think that it's going to just keep being kick ass until the end.

The kid is going to do something to fix everything. Hera?

yeah, she will swoop in at the last minute and turn all this around.

I wonder what her "purpose" will be. She definitely has a sense of certain things, that not even her mom knows. Or, she is having the same "visions" as Athena, Pres, and Six. But, maybe unlike the three of them, she sees what happens, behind the door, once she goes through in the arms of Six, with Baltar.

The whole Opera House mystery seems to be integral to everything.

Baltar is in the vision, but he's not having the vision. I get the feeling that it's the In-Head version of Baltar that Caprica Six sees.

I think that you're right, on both counts! Damn... more and more questions!

Fer ser. Just going to have to bounce ideas around and see what makes the most sense. Then the writers will kick us all in the collective nuts and flip the show upside down. Can't wait.

But there are only 10 episodes left. Ron Moore said that this stretch of shows is the final act, the wrap up. They have found Earth now it's time to deal with it.

There is just so much to figure out. Not to mention all the new questions about Earth, the Final 5 and their previous lives, how the other 7 knew of them and why it was a secret.

My big questions are... well, I will post in another thread. This is about Cylons. Heh.

And she is wearing makeup and her hair is done.

She almost looks pretty dammit.

They show her being reborn. I bet that is from shortly after Tigh offed her. Since she was a part of the final 5, and they said something about she knows it all... well, I'm assuming that they mean since she was re-downloaded, she remembered everything, and that she will know who the other 4 are. And maybe, just maybe, she won't be mad with Tigh. We shall see. I bet she's coming to get some retribution though.

Excellent point. She's the only one of the Final 5 who has downloaded. Makes perfect sense that she would learn the secret of the Opera House, Earth, etc.

I just can't wait to see her join up with the "good" cylons and the fleet, and see what happens. Especially when she sees Tigh. Obviously, since he remembered that she was the remaining cylon, I'm sure that he's hoped that she wasn't dead. But, what will his reaction be toward her? How will the TRIANGLE (Tigh, Six, Ellen) all handle each other?

So we have had plenty questions answered.

But the biggie is still revolving around Starbuck, how she came back, and what she found on Earth.

Opera House? Inner Six and Inner Baltar?

And from an interview with Katee Sackhoff, we're not going to get anything really answered for Starbuck. I really hope that isn't true.

We need answers about the Opera House, and the visions that lead us to knowing about it. What is it's purpose? Is there an opera house, now, that this will be a future event? Or, were we witnessing a dream of a memory? Anything is possible, right?

Nothing answered for Starbuck? That would piss me off. There is too much they need to explain. The drawings, her seemingly dead ass on Earth, the freaky Viper she brought back...

It was an interview, with Katee, in Entertainment Weekly. It was a couple weeks ago. She said that there is a ton wrapped up, but that we get not definitive answer as to what/who Starbuck is. I'm wondering if all we will know is her finding herself, in the cockpit of her viper, on Earth. If so... if that's all we get... I, along with THOUSANDS of other fans, are going to be pissed. They can't leave us hanging on Kara Thrace's character, because she's been too much a part of the core of the show.

Based on last nights kick-ass episode, a theory I've been kicking around looks to becoming true. I've read it elsewhere, not saying I made it up or anything.

Regardless.

Starbuck has to be half-Cylon.

I think her dad was Daniel, Cylon #7.

Would almost explain why she got resurected, if there is still some resurection stuff around Earth that is still working.

So, was that Daniel, playing the piano, and talking to her? Because NO ONE ELSE saw him.

Could he (the unnamed piano player) be a head cylon (like Six is for Baltar? She's having "visions" of someone, that she thinks is there, but really isn't? Damn, this is confusing, but good!

Yeah. Thinking the piano player was an in-head visage of Daniel, like Six for Baltar.

Would make Starbucks ressurection possible. But if she popped up on a regular Basestar, then someone would bring it up, no?

Daniel was an artist. Starbuck painted all that stuff, inclduing places they hadn't been to yet. The Hybrid knew her and made a prophecy.

Another thing bugging me... something else is at work here.

Remember that Anders said back on Earth 2,000 years ago some beings warned them of the nuclear holocaust, so they bailed.

Something resurrection Starbuck, her Viper, and gave her ship a homing beacon.

Something is making Opera House visions.

Something triggered the Final 5 song, which Hera drew and Starbuck played with help from a person in her mind.

Would explain it 100%, except for the brand new viper. That's the fly in the oinment right there.

At this point, I think they will bring in those god like people the first series ran into, forget what you call them.
