| Tis the season...Paige is watching "Charlie Brown Christmas", love it, this one never gets old. We own the original "Grinch who stole Christmas", and I've got "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" coming on Netflix. She's mesmerized, it's funny, I was the same way 30 some years ago. The shows I still try to see every year are "It's a Wonderful Life", and the original Scrooge, the black and white one made in the 30's...(as opposed to the one shot in the 50's, LOL) Holiday shows are kinda funny, anyone else remember "A Very Brady Christmas"? | |

| The old Charlie Brown's are the best. I can't help but get in a a Christmasy mood when I watch Die-Hard. "Now I have a machine gun, HO-HO-HO." Excellent. -HECK! | |

| Oh yeah, it was. There's another one. Weird, two of my favorite action movies take place during Christmas. Riggs almost ate a bullet while watching some Christmas movie, right? It's been a while since I've seen it. What a dick I am. -HECK! | |

| He was watching Elmer Fudd wasn't he, or was it Mr. Magoo? (I kind of suspect that Fudd and Magoo had to be related in cartoon world somewhere). It was Lethal Weapon 1 when Riggs was all crazy over his wife dying. | |

| I remember A Very Brady Christmas because I think it was something like each of the kids wasn't sure they'd make it back to the Brady house for Christmas, and of course they did. Even sadder, I remember The Brady Brides, and the tv show that spun off it. I know, this isn't speaking very well for my tv habits is it?? | |

| Rudolph was one of my favorite Christmas movies too. I also remember watching this Disney movie called Babes in Toyland (I know it ain't a Christmas movie but on the version I had as a kid they had an ad at the tail end of the movie for a mikey christmas movie but I didn't know it was an advertisement so I though Babes was a Christmas movie....) | |

| Rudolph is scheduled to be here tomorrow from Netflix. LOL...I'm renting all the classics and seeing which ones Paige likes. She calls the Grinch "the scary man on the Christmas tree", because I have so many Grinch ornaments. Love the Grinch. His dog completely cracks me up. I'm still a kid at heart, you just can't get better than that cartoon! | |

| Grinch is the definitive Christmas cartoon for sure. When that little heart measuring device gets all big and breaks, gets me all choked up... excuse me... Even though it's more of a Thanksgiving oriented comedy, 'Planes, Trains & Automobiles' tugs on the ol' heart strings at the end. Bad Santa is just sad. Funny, but sad. I really, really like Scrooged with Bill Murray and Karen Allen. It kind of embodies the spirity of the holidays in a 80's style Gordon Gecko 'greed is good' mentality, of course it's sprinkled with Bill Murray's unique comedy. Just a graet flick. -HECK! | |

| Did anyone watch the Shreck The Halls special last week on ABC? It was only 30 minutes long but it was cute. Especially this part with Puss in Boots teling his version of was Santa Clause is like. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFDeUJVs220 I so want the part where he's playing with his hat as my avatar but I can't find it already set as an animiated avatar and I don't know how to take parts of videos to do that | |

| awww I love White christmas. The one with Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney? No i'm not 80, I just love classic movies like that. My mom and I always used to watch it and sing along. I had it on tape but it's all scratched up now. I should get it on dvd. It's a wonderful life is okay too. I hated it when they showed it 900 times during the holiday season though. It's good to see it once a year. A Christmas Story is also awesome. I used to hate that movie, but I think the more I watch it, the funnier it gets. Again though, they replay it too many times, it gets tiring. | |

| We saw the last half of Shrek the Halls, but I wasn't paying attention really. I was ticked because I'd meant to DVR it and didn't. Paige loves Shrek and she'd have watched it a hundred times if I'd remembered. Planes, Trains and Automobiles was a freakin' funny movie!!! I'm going to add that to my Netflix tonight. (My Blue Heaven is a funny one too, but not a Christmas movie...) I haven't seen Scrooged, I'll add that one too. | |

| For me the one film that reminds me of Christmas is the great escape because it is on every bloody christmas it's traditional as the queens speech ( be thankful you don't have to suffer that old cow rambling on about the highlights of her year) I do like Scrooged though it's a wonderful life is ok and wasn't it Christmas in the first Gremlins film? | |

| Really? Dennis Leary is this burglar and when this job goes wrong he kidnaps this arguing couple, the husband is played by Kevin Spacey. It's Christmas time and the couple has family coming over. It's a small town, the inept cops are looking for him so he hides out at their house, posing as their marriage counselor when the family gets there. Good comedy. -HECK! | |

| I have the Ref on DVD, love that movie. Dennis Leary is great! I've also got his CD "No Cure for Cancer", specifically for "The Asshole Song". Which has nothing to do with Christmas, it's just so funny it'll make you cry. If I knew how to find the link thingies so you all could hear the song, I'd do it. Anybody remember the movie that's set at Christmas, where 3 brothers go to this little town to rob the bank before everyone draws out their Christmas shopping money, end up having to take the entire bank hostage and wait for the guy with the vault keys to get back from lunch? I can't even remember who was in it, but that was another really funny one. | |
