| Seing as I am like 14 hours "in the future" to most of you guys (1 hour to Grant) Christmas is less than two hours away for me, so this will be my last chance to wish you all a Merry Christmas, hope you have an awesome day and get all the pressies you want and spend time with family and friends and everything is awesome. | The only thing that makes it feel like Christmas in Taiwan is the countdown. I don't know why they do it, but every year without a doubt: "10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 - MERRY CHRISTMAS!" | |

| Isn't it like 1pm there now? Umm... they count down for new years, sure. They have a kick-ass fireworks display too. They don't count down for Chinese New Year though. Dunno why. | |

| The only thing Christmassy I did this year was went to Swenson's for their Christmas dinner. Even that, though, wasn't so Christmassy. It was just pumpin soup, some Teriyaki rolls, some pork ribs, lamb chops, a chicken thigh, some ice cream, crepes and stuff. Didn't really spell Christmas to me, but it was a good meal. Saw some friends at the restaurant, which was good. | |

| No fucking in my Christmas thread! Yay, Christmas is over, was a wierd day. Slept in til 9, got dressed, Cian's brother came over at 11.00 we opened presents, I got some books, some jewellery, a few other bits and pieces and a LOUIS VUITTON PURSE!!!! A real one, not a fake like the rest of my LV stuff. Woo. Christmas lunch, was Turkey, which we cooked the night before because it was going to be the hottest Xmas ever or something and we didn't relish the thought of having the oven on for three hours during the day. So we had cold turkey, ham, salad, prawns, potato salad, chorizo, and it was gooood. I made trifle for desert and if I do say so myself, I make a pretty mean trifle. We also had christmas pudding and custard and heaps of choccies and nibbles. Spent the afternoon trying to keep cool in the spa watching DVDs on the laptop. Got a phone call at 9.00 from my Uncle, we were supposed to visit him on Boxing day as my great aunt is over from England and she's staying with him. She's 65+ years old and coming from wintery England to one of the hotest Christmas days ever must've messed her up good coz she fell over and passed out in the heat and broke her leg in two places, she has to have surgery today to have pins put in her leg, so we're going visiting on Saturday. Boxing day has been lazy, slept till twelve, and only got up coz the power went out so the air-con stopped working. Spent three hours in the spa until power came back on and then had a late christmas left-over lunch. I love christmas left overs, although after four days of ham sandwiches it can get a bit old. PS: gabo it was 10.30 am when i made the christmas day post. | |

| That's right, you're in Perth. Duh. 44.5 is a freakin' hot day. Hottest day I remember was probably 43. Hit 42 fairly often in Summer though. I don't miss the heat. | |

| Merry Christmas everybody! It was pretty warm here in San Diego too, about 70f (it is winter after all). I even had my shirt off when I was barbecueing ribs ( Nikki wanted ribs ). The best present I got for Christmas was not feeling like crap. 2 days worth of stomach bug left me looking green when we went to Sherrys moms for Christmas eve. Christmas day was at our house, and I felt much better. Everything went really well, the food was awesome (including my ribs), and everybody had a good time. Later that night I got a sinus headache and went to bed. Today I wake with a full blown sinus infection and feel like crap again | |

| Merry belated Christmas. I was working too much at getting the food made and the house clean to really get to enjoy Christmas as much as I wished I had. The kids had an awesome time, and other than some post holiday tendonitis, I'm good. | |

| Grant, my mom went to Colorado, on the 17th, to spend the holidays with my brother, and his kids. I can't blame her, because she misses her grandchildren. I miss the kids too. So, I spent Christmas with no family at all. It was just me. But, it was a decent day. It could have been much worse. | |

| Not possible for you to take off to Colorado too? Though sometimes it's better not to be constantly surrounded by family. It gets tiring, though. To be honest, if it's not for me having someone to tell me where I should go and what I should do almost constantly, I would probably just sit in a room and stare at the wall. | |

In all honesty, I just couldn't afford it. I got hit, hard, financially. I've been on medical leave, from work... well, working part-time. So, my paycheck has been slashed. But, I still have the same bills, and now, I'm broke. My paycheck, that I just got today, is already gone, on bills. This sucks. January is going to suck, big time. *sigh* | |
