and another one with Christopher Lloyd... something about a highway, I forget right now...


A lot of good watching there, a lot of crap too. My favorites are probably The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, The Shining, It, Pet Semetary, Night Flier and Carrie; the Dead Zone TV show is also pretty great (got the first 3 seasons on DVD, haven't seen any of the show after that point yet though).

The best surprise I got from a Stephen King movie was "Night Flier" - very enjoyable despite the fact that it was low budget and based on a somewhat lamer short story.

Worse surprise I got was The Running Man. What the hell was that?

Only ones I like are:

T.V. Deadzone

The Shining (with Jack N.)

The Green Mile

and Shawshank.

I guess the rest ain't your cup of tea?

I saw both of The Shining movies... both are kind of okay in their own way... One stayed closer to the book, but had less raunchy/gory stuff... the other was Kubrick and Nicholson, which is a pretty sweet combo on its own.

The rest have a made for t.v. quality to them, even the movies, they just don't hit a nerve with me.


I'm a picky feller though.

All of them are good... but, those three are the best.
Nothing though, in my opinion, is better than "The Stand"
