Battlestar Season 3 General Discussion

This last sunday nights episode was pretty darn awesome.


(Spoilers)


I was very happy that Lucy saw that one of the final five was someone she knew. (I didn't know, she said) Awesome.

But it was a bummer that they shut down the Xena models. Good thing is they are in cold storage, and can be woken up at any time.

I'm thinking the Cylon is either Roslin or Starbuck. Just a guess.

Last night was kinda slow. I stayed up late to watch it. The torture of Baltar was kind of old, as the Cylons just tortured him a couple of weeks ago.

And the Starbuck/Apollo love story don't float my boat. But it was still watchable.

Agreed Wheezy. It was slow. I am done with the Apollo/Starbuck crapola. Starbuck has don't jack diddly squat in weeks except drink and frack. Normally I would support that but let's move the story along you know?

Did you get to see the last scene after the credits? That part was good, the one with #6 saying Leoben made it...

We had assumed he was blown out the airlock, and too far away from the Res ship, but he made it back and let everyone know what Roslin did to him.

Is that what she said? Wasn't sure. I guess there was an extended scene of it online or something?

Don't know, just saw the short clip after the credits. She said something about she didn't trust Roslin, as she promised things to Leoben and then threw him out the airlock, that he told her that.

So dude survived. All the way from season one and we just now find out, but I bet dude is pissed about it still.

My dvr quite recording before the episode was over. So, I didn't get to see the extra scene, damn it. I was pretty pissed off about that.

It was only around 20 seconds. It was Roslin in a room with the captured #6. (I had forgotten they even got her when they got Baltar)

Roslin was saying something, and #6 said that she didn't trust her, as Leoben told her that he was lied to, then thrown out the airlock.

Thanks Dave... that was definitely longer than 20 seconds.
And I loved it. Looks like Caprica is going to be THE witness at Baltars trail. I wonder what she will, ummmmmm, reveal. I can't wait to see what happens next with that.

I didn't get it. Why does she want to testify against him? Seemed out of character.

Hard to say. Does she still see Baltar in her mind?

Don't know why she would turn on him... oh wait, she's probably pissed because he went off with D'Anna to go find the Final 5. They wouldn't let Six play along, totally ditched her. She's probably pissed. Now I know pissing off a woman is bad enough, but a toaster skin job hottie chickadee? That's a new world of pain.

Who do you think will preside over the trial? I'm hoping they get Judge Judy.

Judge Judy won't take no **** from no cylon witnesses!

I'm assuming they'll do a military court deal. I would imagine Adama would be the judge. Good luck finding an impartial jury though. How long will they draw out the trial I wonder... you know they will sentence him to death and he'll escape again. If they give him life that will be weak.

Typical plot device would be they are about to dole out some justice, but at the last minute, they will need him for something important, and he will be given a deal.


If he is the chosen one, then he holds some kind of power, and the Cylons and Humans will kiss his *** in the end to get out of some bind they find themselves in.

Chosen One for what though? Some kind of Cylon/Human deity?

And I thought we were going to see the Cylon homeworld?

I'm guessing the shut down all the Xena's on the home world too. That makes the homeworld a very boring place indeed.

From what I got they retired that whole model. Going to be a lot of stinky D'Anna corpses all around.

She could always come back in some odd ass way. Flashback perhaps.

Maybe she is one of the Final 5?

Well, maybe she's afraid to go back with the cylons... for helping Sharon, and Hera, off of the Basestar. But, she knows that unless she does SOMETHING to prove she wants to turncoat on the toasters, she will be killed, and back with them. So, she's going to unleash a world or secrets about Baltar onto them. Or, shes in love with him, and is going to do everything that she can to get him saved. *shrug*

Man, I showed up to party at Cylon Central, and all the Xena's was turned off or dead, I'd be pissed.

I'd get with Quantam Leap dude and tell him to wake them up, or else I was gonna kick some ***.

I went to Lucy's personal site, and blog. She says nothing about ending her time on BSG. So, I don't know if she's gone for good. We shall wait and see... or I will keep seeing when she posts something.

I can't see Adama being the "judge" for the trial. He's TOO involved. They need some impartial people for that. But, are there truly any there?

And Judge Judy would kick ass on them.

Okay, there was no episode on last week right? I saw last nights and felt like I missed something.

Cool we got to know Helo's first name. Carl. Kind of weenie-ish. Captain Carl. Haha.
