I would like to know how your business is going. Last we heard from you, you were joining up with a couple other dudes and was going to form some kind of company. I think. I'v slept since then.

How is your business going? I hope all's working out on that front.

Well, the business tanked. The market turned on a dime and we were to new and fresh to survive it. Thanks for bringing up painful memories, boys...

But the knowledge gained from the endeavour will definately be useful the next time around. In the meantime, I'm planning on going back to school for september, if I can.

The SierraDaddy college fund is officially established and awaiting your hefty and benevolent donations.

I heard if you move to Norway you can get paid to go to school... no matter who you are.

Ah, pretty good. Our dollar has been steadily rising, which is a good AND bad thing, as it hinders business with companies in the states who are looking for a level of profit off the lower value of the canadian dollar. As the dollar rises, down go those expected profits...

But in terms of the job market, I'm qualified and the jobs are there. I've just been in a slump since my nephew died this past summer and I'm only just coming out of the fog. I'll have a job soon! Mark the words....

I'll be happy when you get stateside someday. Only bad part about that is having to pay income taxes.

I'm betting you got them up in Canada, but me figures they are no where near as convoluted as the IRS makes our taxes.

Maybe not, but they're still pretty bad. However, being in law school will give me the opportunity to learn tax law, as well as network with lawyers specializing in it. I'll get them to set me up, and I won't have to be as bothered by it.
