I dont know who will be interested in this but I thought I'd do it anyway. This thread is a place for me to share the music I like performed by the artists I'm getting into at a certain time. So on to the topic.
I find myself, as I get older, retreating more and more into Folk Music and shunning even the old rockers of the 60's and 70's I used to adore in my teenage years. Most recently the man who has attracted my interest is Woody Guthrie. On July 14th of this year the music world celebrated the 100th anniversary of Guthrie's birth and, natrually, this drove him to my attention. Helped a great deal by the hour long Woody Guthrie special on Mike Harding's Wednesday Folk show on BBC Radio 2 I have developed an interest in his music. Here are a few songs of his that I enjoy:
Ranger's Command
Do Re Mi
Vigilante Man
This Land is Your Land
White Tiger

To mark the death of Pete Seeger I thought I would share some of my favorites of his songs. The world is a poorer place without a man who appeared to love life as much as he did, and who fought for what he believed in as vehemently as he did.
