What is your favorite Type(s) of music?

For me... rock, pop, and musicals!!!
I like most music... but, those are my favorites.

I voted for Blues, Jazz, Musicals, R&B, Funk, Classical. I would've voted for rock, cause I like a bit of rock, but I didn't want to give a vote for Emo for any reason what-so-ever

I can't pick a specific one. It depends on my mood. I listen to Yahoo Launchcast every night, I go from 90's music, to #1 ballads, to pop, to rock etc... oh I love musicals too. Definitely can't pick just one genre..

Forgot to log out earlier, but that means I can vote twice (yay me). I also voted for Christian, cause though I'm not religious, Christian music is usually pretty cool.

Grant, there are some incredibly wonderful christian artists out there. And, at least you don't have to listen to lyrics about killing someone, or about some bitch, etc...

Oh hell no, I can't stand that kind of crap.

There is some really good rap out there. It's not all about slappin' bitches. Just like not all Christian music is bible-thumping melodramatic crap with a cross.


Early NWA had some shit to say believe it or not.

The only thing that bugs me about rap now is how every artist raps about the beef he has with another rapper. It's gone from the streets of Compton to a millionaire soap opera.

Still, I can't stand religious music. POD was the closest I got to liking some semblance of it. I guess Creed too.

Creed was never a christian band, and Scott Stapp was adament about that. Just because his father was a preacher... he didn't do christian music!

Creed's signed by a Christian label.

Yes, but Scott Stapp said in multiple interviews that they were not a christian band. THat's all I was saying.

Yeah i know, it's kinda of like Evanesence was labled a christian band even though they arent, because they were sign with the same label as creed I think and becuase the dude on that song bring me to life is in a christian band. People get it mixed up, that's all I'm saying.
Just trying to clear the confusion, people THINK Creed is a christian band because they were signed with a christian label.

I liked Creed. They had some great tunes.

Why would a Christian label sign a nonchristian band though?

It probably doesn't. For some reason though, I just can't see Metropolis signing a Christian band to their label. At the same time I can't really see a Christian label signing a nonchristian band either.

like i said before dont quote me, thats just what i read somewhere when the whole Evenescence is a chrisian band thing started. that was like what 4 or 5 ears ago, maybe i'm remembering wrong but thats what i thought i read somewhere.

I haven't heard anything about them being a Christian band. But I did hear about the lead singer of Creed going religious.

I heard that they split up after that guy went religious on the band. They had a few songs that I liked.

i honestly couldn't htink of a single song i like that they sing, off the top of my head, if i heard a couple i might say that alright but right now, cant think of one

The only one that I can think of is "Higher". There's another one too but I've no idea what it's called now. Don't ask me how it goes because I can't remember that either. I haven't heard any of their music in forever.
