I saw a video of her doing the same song on a Korean variety show last night. She seems to be going around doing the same song for a bunch of different shows in different countries. Hilarious though, her whole act makes me laugh and kind of rub my eyes in disbelief.

I saw her on Oprah years and years ago and thought she was a great singer, Oprah arranged for her to go on tour with Celine Dion or something and some Manager saw her and gave her a record deal. She's been doing cover songs for ages, but this most recent album is her first original stuff and I have to say I am not 100% sold on the original stuff. She has a great voice for copying other singers, but none of the new stuff if grabbing me.

She seems really cute and down to earth and like a likable girl though, so I am rooting for her to do well. But the nice girls with ballads and no sex in their music never do. She is getting a guest spot on Glee though, I think 6 episodes as some kind of exchange student with a voice to challenge Lea Michelle's character and that sounds like a good placement and would do great things for her exposure and hopefully launch her career better than anything else has been doing.

She's becoming bigger and bigger here. They're playing ads quite a bit. I dunno, I liked her energy and her voice, but I bet most of the original songs she'd do would suck. She does have a couple written by Diane Warren which is good. Pretty sure David Foster produced most of her album too, so good for her... I'm just not 100% sure just yet.
