Star Trek (2009) Blu Ray Release

The gag reel on the Trek Blu Ray was great.

That video with Kirk chin checking that alien chick was classic.

Out of context, that punch was hilarious. I'm sure it made sense in the show... then again, it still is William Shatner, so he was probably improvising.

The Blu Ray release of this is pretty cool, though I haven't gone through it in detail. Just basically watched the movie for a second time and that's it. But it'll be interesting to see some of the special features so I'll give those a go when I've got the time.

Special features were alright. Nothing to go and get a Blu Ray player for it. Same ol' extra bullshit that you don't need to really see. It's like fly on the wall of a boring conversation via interesting people. Same with director commentary. I don't really give a shit.

I went to buy it, and it was out of stock at Walmart. Really popular Blue Ray right now.

It's $16.99 at wherever the place I got mine from is called. Yeah, that place.

Yeah special features are usually boring. Except for when they're not. At least I got the digital copy, I'll put that fothermucker on my phone.

The features are alright. But I've never been a person who watches DVD/Blu-Ray extras. I really don't give a shit about them. Most are pointless, extra drivel to jack up the price of the movie.

The only thing I do watch, when available, are deleted scenes and bloopers. I love me the bloopies.

Yes, deleted scenes and bloopers. If it's a director I like I'll watch commentary.

I bet JJ has some interesting comments for sure. Wouldn't mind that commentary.

The rest of the cast, meh.

Cast commentary could be interesting. I remember the Final Destination DVD has a cast commentary track which is quite interesting. Probably other movies I can't think of right now, I just remember that one stuck out.
