| I also got some pumpkins growing in real life. Though, like the last 3 years, I don't have any pumpkins, just the vines. I'm hoping they will pollinate this year and actually grow the gourds. Vines themselves are pretty neat, even without the pumpkins growing. | |

| Very cool David. I wish I had room to grow pumpkins. Nikki's bird seed experiment is still going. I think they might turn into sunflowers, but it is too soon to tell. On Farmtown I am at level 18. I have 94,000 but I don't want to buy the cheap house. I'm saving for the bigger one. My priority is more land, barn, then house. After that I want a pond. | |

| If she planted that mixed bird seed, the small round junk, they grow into a neat looking grainy grass like stalk with those small bb seeds on them. The birds will eat them right off the plant. The sunflower seeds will go ahead and grow. I don't know if they are partials that the bird broke open, or if they are full non molested seeds. They just grow there below the feeder. But they also pop up all over the yard, as the birds drop some as they fly. | |

| We had wild bird seed with sunflowers. Nikki decided to plant a handful of it to see what would come up. I'll keep you posted. Well after planting I am down to 91,000. I don't have enough friends to get others to harvest for me. I must have 10 farmer friends and I only have 8. Grant, join if only so that I can hire minions to harvest the onions ect. I am now only going to harvest crops that come in every 3-4 days. Sheesh. I'm pooped! | |

| Water them a lot, they likes the water. I have some wild sunflower as well, down by the ditch. They grew on their own, apart from seeds dropped by birds. They look a lot different. I need to get a picture of them and post them. | |

| I love what you have done with your farm. I bought a barn today and expanded for the second time.
Please send me flowers.

| I now have over 1 million on Farmtown. This rocks! And they added all those new seeds to plant. I filled my entire farm this afternoon with new things. I can't wait. | |

| Dang it! The power supply on the comp took a dump and everything died.
Good news is- got 2 new power supplys. The living room comp is back in the race. Now I can fix the good comp in the bedroom (that hasnt worked in like a year) and start harvesting Sherrys crops.
Cant wait to get my hands on those melons!

| Farmtown is way way better than Farville, BUT: Farmville is way easier to plow and harvest. Farmtown is irratating as hell. You click and click and 15% of the time, it won't plow or harvest or plant cause your cursor is not in the 1% percentile where it will work... Farmville can write the code right, the Farmtown crew had better get their code right soon. I won't quit, I like it to much, but man already, just make it so you can click on the freqin plot already... | |

| I have been so wrapped up in the Farmtown, Farmville, Lil Farm Life and now Farm something I just joined, I forgot all about the board here. I mean I actually forgot the last few days. This farm **** has taken over my life. In a related note, but unrelated, cause it's real life, my pumpkin finally pollinated and I have a couple of pumpkins growing. Don't look like them yet, but they are. I'll take a picture tomorrow, I called in sick just now. So I'll sleep late, take some pics and post the Whidden pumpkin crop online for all to admire and envy. | |

| Sneaky trick, once you have clicked all your planting, and they're all waiting, go to the market and then straight back to your farm, all your crops will be planted, you dont have to hang around and wait for your man to go to each plot individually. | |

| Aight, as promised, PUMPKINS!!!! Real ones. As I said earlier, I been planting these things for 3 years, 4 years, and never got a pumpkin. I planted them close to the house this time, so I could water them everyday, and I finally hit paydirt. They don't look like Pumpkins yet, but I'll keep you updated. Picture one is a wide shot to show how big the vine is, the pumpkins are growing out on the very end of it. Picture two is the female flower. The Pumpkin is at the bottom, the whitish hairy thing. The female flower is on top. It has not blossemed yet. If it doesn't get pollinated, the it will just fall off and die. Third picture is a zoom shot of the vine end. In the middle is the pumpkin, and on the right one a little further along. The flowers are whilting and will fall off. | |

| Picture 4 is the one on the right. So far it just looks like a mini gourd, not real pumpkin like. But it should turn orange soon and grow rounder. This is making me happy, maybe since it took 4 years to get this far. My farming skills are growing!!!! | |
