| It is dumb. But great in a crappy 80's action flick sort of way. Not so much cheesy, more like it takes itself too serious, therein the funny. Like a James Bond sort of deal. The plot reminds me of the basic plot of Knight Rider, minus the car. -HECK! | |

| Seems dumb, and seems like they filmed the thing in a park behind a shopping center.
I'd prefer to watch the... what's it called? The Ninja or some shit? It's really dumb, but the dude takes out like 50 police officers no worries.

| So I checked this out and it was more then decent. A little corny in places, but the action was fantastic. I felt sorry for Jet Li getting thrown around as much as he did, but he is a small bloke compared to Dolth Lundgren. Sure he didn't mind.
They didn't try too hard on the story, which is the way I like it in this kind of movie. Arnie's cameo was interesting and kind of funny (there's a dick sucking joke thrown in there). Just good to see Sly and Arnie on screen together, really. Bruce Willis was in the scene too.
Sly and Jason Sta..th...whatsie were the main guys in this, and the entire middle portion of the movie was basically about them. They throw down in this Central American Island (I think it was, I guess. Caribbean? I'm not sure, I can't remember if they said exactly), and then later bring the whole crew in. Jet Li is probably the next character who shows up the most, followed by the rest of the crew.
Micky Rourke was under-utilized, I thought.
Anyway, good flick. Glad it didn't have any more characters than it did, it was pretty cool the way it was. | |
