One of my "friends" on facebook (dick-wad I went to high school with who cheated on my best friend) has had his account logged into by his ex-girlfriend and she has changed his status to:

"name" is ... A Cunt he went to melb took all my money, tells me he'llputsome in my acct but spends it all on alcohol now his son has no nappies or milk and he doesnt care

Her comments following the status:

im sick of all the crap he dishes out.. well about his son i managed to borrow $20 off of my friend to buy nappies n stuff until i get paid on friday

what pisses me off more is he wont answer his phone which i think is now turned off all his mates have told me to fuck off and to stop calling and these mates of his are married with kids themselves and they dont even give a shit.. its sooo frustrating

i duuno y he went to melb in first place he reckons he went to rehab but i now know thats a lie we split up b4 he went to melb so yea.. but this time hes ony there for 4 days im seriously thinking of burning all his clothes and hocking all of his valuables.

She's changed his "about me" to:

She's deleted all the photos he had posted of him and his kids. I am waiting for his profile pic to be changed to Satan

I overheard a conversation where these supreme douchebags were angry because a mutual friend removed them from a top ten list of friends on MySpace. They were actually upset. It took everything in my power to not punch them both in the face.

I thought it was odd too, but another friend of "name" has commented on the status with this:

So it seems to be legit.

The other wierd thing is that she hasn't changed his relationship status. His profile still shows him as being in a relationship with her. That would be the first thing I would change.

Yeah, I agree. I can recognize my wife's voice anywhere, no matter how much she tried to disguise it. Same goes for any ex girlfriends, you just know their voices. There's no way any of them could pretend to be someone for more than 10 seconds without me working it out.

But, then, schmiggens' "friends" are obviously a bit... you know...

I lost my facebook password several months ago. I get emails saying friends give me stuff, etc, but I can't go back and do stuff.


Good thing, they say a bad virus is spreading around through Facebook.

Did they also say to forward the email to 7 friends in the next 10 minutes or else the virus will get you?

Some of her friends commented on it, with stuff about what an asshole he was and how she was better off without him.
All his friends are just ignoring it. I am too uncomfortable to say anything, so I guess other people are too.

I can understand the relationship status changes, but why would you have this conversation with your partner on facebook in full view of everyone? I don't get it.

In other news (name) from the other posts seems to be getting his shit together, is in rehab and is 60 days sober and still in a relationship with the misses who kept hacking his profile. So maybe hacking his facebook profile prompted him to get it together?

Can you change your relationship status without it being full published to everybody you know?

Sucks that people feel the need to publish such weird shit about themselves there.

Nope! When you make someone your "friend" on FB, it tells everyone.

But, on Myspace, you can go in and change your settings to not update people on changes.

I think you should be able to go to in and edit the settings, you can tell it what stories to publish on your profile or not for applications, so you should be able to do the same for all updates.
I'd try going into the settings, I'd assume you can untick the "relatinship" box and have it not publish those changes/ updates.
