The Golden Compass - anti religious?

I'm pretty sure they had armor...... I'll have to watch it again to be sure

the polar bears where pulling the white witches chariot but there was no armor.

I'd like to see the movie, looks interesting. I'll have to watch it and see what I think about it before I show it to Alyssa. When I heard about the contriversory I fugured it was something like how they boycotted Harry Potter.



I'm just waiting for a group of Wiccans to come up and start boycotting pretty much every movie ever made for misresentation of their religion.

I sometimes hear about Wiccans complaining about the Craft and some other flicks. Doesn't really make the headlines though.

Oh no doubt, her movies suck. But she's so purrrty.

I liked her in Cold Mountain, but that's the only movie I dug her in.

I can't really think of a movie she was in that I like. Maybe Days Of Thunder, but that was just Top Gun on a NASCAR track, not a Kidman vehicle, no pun intended.

That freaky Kubrick movie she did with Cruise was lame.

I didn't understand that movie, who was who, who did who, who died, who didn't, I was cornfuzzled.

And the mask stuff was a turn off, that room full of folks in orgy mode, and they had creepy masks. I was more than creeped out.

There for a while I think ever movie she was in had ol' Tommy boy in it

Well, there was Days of Thunder, Eyes Wide Shut and Far & Away. Probably others, those are the only ones I remember off the top of my head.

That's an awful picture (and a really awful get up she's in), no doubt. She has her moments, though. Usually on screen of course.

That's the Golden Compass opening in Sydney this week. That suit is just so disgusting I had to post it.

She has to know Australians well enough to know they won't think that's the least bit cool, right? At least the general public won't be impressed.
