| I have this RSS feed that picks up, amongst other things, updates to Wikipedia. I came across this gem:  Okay. So this person obviously has enough smarts to fire up the computer. They can manuver Wikipedia enough to almost create a page. Yet they cannot distinguish between "your" and "you're" while insulting the website. If that wasn't enough, this braniac uses "than" over "then". Come on now. When you are going to insult a website, at least use proper grammar. Freakin' classic. I hate people. -HECK! | |

| I also would have put a comma after "Fuck you" and a full-stop after Wikipedia. Or a semi-colon, if I was feeling cheeky. But, you know, at his discretion and all.
I got pretty upset at wikipedia deleting a page I did up for a company once (it was a company's page, I didn't do it FOR the company, I mean). I sourced everything on it to different financial websites (not like people's home pages, I'm talking the big guns) and various publications like the New York Times and some other stuff. Then some prick put it up for speedy deletion and 2 minutes later it was gone (before I could work out what was going on). Prick.

| I assume they can undo the changes to a hacked page, or else someone could run through and just zap thousands of pages.
No doubt they have people sitting there, monitoring what changes are being made and by whom, banning IP's like a mofo.

| You can revert back to an old page pretty easily, and anybody can do it. If stuff's deleted, it's easy to recover. Though my company had a page, some overzealous moderator whatsie deleted it and I don't know how to get it back. I swear I wanted to punch the Wikipedia owner in the face right there, 'cause the page was brilliant and less bias than our competitor's... but whatever.
I should just start a page about Wikipedia being gay if they delete me. | |
