Guitar Hero III

Damon got Guitar Hero for the Wii this Christmas. Mom got the wrong version and had to exchange it, so we just got it the other day. Finally we have a game where I can kick Damons butt! The Buzzards ( Damons band) are repeatedly getting booed off stage. Meanwhile , Purple Vomit ( my band ) are touring England.

I want to play this game, it looks fun. The South Park take on this game was hilarious.

Does it help you learn to play guitar for real? After you learn all the moves on the fake guitar, does it translate to real life?

it may give you an idea but it's not like a for real for real guitar


I have the game and beat it on easy, but I get booed a big one if I move up
right now i'm trying to get perfects on all the songs on easy. have several but still lots to go, maybe once I do that I can do medium

Alyssa likes to play but she usually doesnt make it but half a song, so I let her do the whammy for me while I play


Ron, not sure if it matters to you or not but I've heard of a lot of conterversary about the final level of the game. Has "satanic imagery" and you battle the devil at the end. Lots of people won't let their kids play it, didn't know if you knew, or cared. I myself don't see I big problem with, I always beat the devil at the end Plus you get to rock out to charlie daniels band man, that's kick ass

I haven't gotten perfect on my first try

I got it on The Metal on my 2nd try, one or two other, like the Black Sabbith song, but I was super stoked about the metal cause It was kinda hard

and I can not play that one song, I think it's like Raining Blood or something, it took me several trys to finish it with out getting booed, but I did finally finish it with like a 86 %
I so suck at that song

Sherrys band is called Wench. She just got a 92 on the Rise Against song, on slow. Cant get her to play a gig- she is scared she will get booed

The only song Jamie will play is Slow Ride, cause it's the only song he hasn't been booed on. I hear him playing sometimes when I'm not in the room, I guess he's trying to get better at the other songs so he can play them in front of me and not get booed. For some reason, he just wouldn't feel like a man if he got booed on a song I didn't.

I bought the shark guitar, and the lady shapes, but I can't find the lady anywhere now that I've bought it, she's not in my guitar list, but it says sold beside her in the shop. driving me crazy

I think there are 8 tiers

I'm not sure if your would be different, I have it for play station, and x box 360, they are the same, wii may be different

Thats the only song I couldnt complete on my first try. 87 is the best I can do after 6 or8 tries.

Im 0 for 3 against Lou.

I went back and played the songs I skipped on the first run through. Got 100 on Mississippi Queen on my first try . I got 2 now

Seems like everyone I know wants a Wii. You guys were ahead of the pack on this one. Nice.

I did see the PS3 was lowered to $399. Still a lot, but it's starting to look a little more realistic.
