I just watched both of these movies over the weekend. If you've seen the original Hills Have Eyes and thought it was crap, or too horrific, you probably don't want to see the new one. I actually enjoyed it a lot, though. It was pretty gory, but the story was gripping and it had you questioning what you would do if you were in the same situation. Detached ending, but I guess I expected as much.
The second movie is another story. Plainly put, it was a piece of crap. It had its moments, of course, but all-in-all it was just tedious.
