Emily Deschanel as
Dr. Temperance 'Bones' BrennanA Forensic Anthropologist with the Jeffersonian Institution in Washington, who has a second job as a best selling author of crime fiction novels revolving around a forensic anthropologist. The disappearence of her parents, and her time in the forster system, drove her to become what she is today. She's somewhat socially inept; not owning a television has left her in the dark about a lot of pop culture references.
David Boreanaz as
Special Agent Seeley Booth An ex-military FBI agent who is partnered with Dr. Brennan (who he affectionately calls "Bones") for many of his biggest murder cases. His role in the military was as a sniper assassin, which haunts him even today. He won't give Dr. Brennan a gun, which pisses her off majorly.
Michaela Conlin as
Angela MontenegroAble to recreate a person's face just from their bone structure, and has created a way of making 3D renderings of a decomposed person's face. Puts a lot more of her emotions into her cases than many of the other people in her department. Also is seems to be a bit permiscuous (I can only hope...).
Eric Millegan as
Zack AddyDr. Brennan's assistant with a genius I.Q., who is currently finishing several doctorates, and is almost equally as socially inept as Dr. Brennan (fortunately for her, he's a lot more out of touch). Has a knack for making comfortable situations very awkward.
T.J. Thyne as
Dr. Jack HodginsThe Jeffersonian's resident insect, spores, and minerals, and, unbeknownst to Dr. Brennan, single-handedly the Jeffersonian's biggest financial contributor. He also has as a conspiracy theory to fit every situation.
