The 2 Hour Season 6 Finale

I ain't seen it yet, but my every intent is to catch it when I get home. Hopefully I have time to see both episodes before getting to bed.

What we should see in these episodes:

- Jack rescue Josh
- Jack put his foot in Chang's ass, followed by a bullet in the head
- Jack confront the Vice-President and tell him who's really in charge of the USA
- Jack confront his father
- Chloe and Morris either make up or he shoots her for being so stupid

It was good enough. I liked it. I felt some level of disapointment, but I'm picky. Instead of dwelling on the good, I will go for the bad, as it's more fun to ***** about stuff.

I will say my favorite part was when Morris told Doyle that he was doing a good job and he supported him, and Doyle told him, "When I want to know what you think, I'll ask you."

HIGH-LARIOUS.

The bad:

1. Jack suicide almost deal. Lame. And no Palmer in a Limo telling him to get in. The ending didn't work fer me.

2. Chloe is preggers. This must be the anti-christ if it came from Morris and Chloe.

3. Arab girls open cut on her face comes and goes. Whatever. Get a edit crew that can keep up.

4. They blinded Doyle. Man, he was almost as cool as Jack. And they make him a freakish bomb victim.

5. Russians, Americans, half the free world are watching Sat coverage of this oil rig, and don't notice a helocoptor rescue mission going down. CHEESE.

6. Audrey a fregin vegatable.

7. What the **** happened to DIVISION, that was at CTU running an investigation. These guys just went away, they show up, take control, then that's the end of them.




I gotz no more. Bitchin aside, it was aight.

Meh, haven't seen it yet. Internet wasn't working last night... soon, though, soon....

Finally saw this over the weekend after a thousand different things stopped me from seeing it.

My two biggest complaints were these (Whid already mentioned them both):
1. CTU division investigation totally disappeared. What the hell was the point of including it in the first place? It was absolutely and utterly pointless.

2. The Russians are watching the satelite coverage of the rig assault, but they either didn't see a holicopter fly in, pick some people up and fly out, or they saw it and simply ignored it ("eh, chances are they didn't have the component"). Who the fuck wrote that? Seriously, fire them. I'm not one to get mad over TV shows, but that was just dumb.

I would also complain about the ending... pretty much nothing happened. I guess after Jack faking his death and being kidnapped, followed by a couple of years of torture, there's only so many horrible things you can do to him.

In the first season his wife died in the finale, pretty big deal. Third season he was fired (I think... no, wait, that was in the season 4 prequel). Can't remember if anything big happened in the second season finale, but it couldn't have been as uneventful as this finale.

I am glad the end it didn't result in Jack being tortured for a couple of years, though.


Oh, which reminds me.........

At the very beginning of the season, everybody was saying that the US paid a heavy price for getting Jack back........ what the hell was that price? Seriously, it just came and went, like a lot of things this season.

They try so hard to give a gut wrenching crappy ending, that they just might get to us with a happy ending. Did it ever enter their minds?

Show Jack all happy and riding off into the sunset.

Yeah, they track trucks and cars, and use heat vision with them to pick out life forms, and they don't notice a fregin helicoptor moving in? One of the major things they would be looking for in the first place, to make sure the component didn't get taken.

Just silly. That whole storyline was whack. The ruskies are our friends now, they wouldn't attack over some circuit board. Who puts their entire denfense structure in some nuke circuit board anyhow? Just silly. The writers dropped the ball the last 4th of this season.

It wasn't a bad season, except for all that. I think up until the point... just after CTU was broken into, after that it become ridiculous.

When CTU was infultrated, they should've continued with that for 3 more hours, and had Jack run around all die-hard like. I'd have loved it.

Another thing that irks me, is that after all these seasons, we never see a night shift. These people do a full 24, (or as they said with chloe, 36 hours) and there seems to be no other shift.

They are the ONLY ONES who can subvert world destruction.

Hm, I could understand that a shift change could confuse a situation, as new people arriving may not be able to catch up on everything in a suitable time.

But at the same time, something like this happens, the first thing people do is call in everybody they possibly can. You never see that happening. Usually it's the same people the whole time, and they're not calling in extra help.

Another thing I'm wondering about:

Nadia was told someone from Division would come and take over for her, she was only temporary.

Then CTU gets infultrated.

The whole thing is handled in about 40 minutes, and about 10 minutes after it's over, someone from division comes in to investigate.

Are you telling me they can organize a team to investigate a CTU office faster than they can arrange someone to head it? Please! If those mofos that showed up to investigate Nadia couldn't have simply taken over for her in the first place, what right do they have to judge her performance?
