The fact that I'm biting my nails off (they were long) because I'm f'n nervous about my upcoming surgery! I did this last time too. Oh well... they will grow back.

I hear if you bite them the saliva kills the nail growing fibers in your nails and they won't grow back. Doctors told me.

Heck, I started biting my nails when I was like 5 years old. I bit them, to the nub, until I was in my 20's. Then, I started letting them grow. So, you need a better doctor, because you're seeing a QUACK!

no kidding.... i bite my nails now i'm quiting smoking and they are growing back...
