| Alright, we have a long time until season 4 of BSG, so let's take a look at the song Tyrol, Tigh, Tori and Anders heard... --------- "There must be some way out of here," said the joker to the thief,
"There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief.
Businessmen, they drink my wine, plowmen dig my earth,
None of them along the line know what any of it is worth." "No reason to get excited," the thief, he kindly spoke,
"There are many here among us who feel that life is but a joke.
But you and I, we've been through that, and this is not our fate,
So let us not talk falsely now, the hour is getting late." All along the watchtower, princes kept the view
While all the women came and went, barefoot servants, too. Outside in the distance a wildcat did growl,
Two riders were approaching, the wind began to howl. ------- -HECK!

| A lot of biblical and apocolyptic messages here. If Ron Moore is using this song for some hidden messages that would rule. But to be honest I've read that they kind of write this show on the seat of their pants. Like Helo back on Caprica hooking up with Fake Boomer was just written as they went because of Helo's unexpected popularity. Now it's a major storyline. They could just be using this song to seem overly ominious and keep us guessing for 8 months. -HECK! | |

| Don't know if there is any meaning behind the lyrics for this song being on BSG or not. Will we get any explanation? Don't know. Also... notice that once each "cylon" showed up in that room, they stopped hearing the music? That was interesting. And, right after they left the room, the cylons appeared. Interesting. And within that bunch that arrived... Kara was flying a viper. | |

| There are many here among us who feel that life is but a joke.
But you and I, we've been through that, and this is not our fate,
So let us not talk falsely now, the hour is getting late. That's some heavy shit if you think about it. So they are 4 of the Final 5... when will their memories kick in? -HECK!

| A Watchtower is a warning post. People sit and watch, then warn the city/town/nation when attackers show up. The last part makes it sound like the rulers and servants both aint watching good enough, and there is a wild cat out there, and two men approach. I guess it could mean an attack is near, but no one is watching. Old Jimmy Hendrix was a drug user, so I don't know. | |

| They hear the song then 2 Base Stars show up. They just had a trial so no one was paying attention. Starbuck could be the wild cat. Weird. And Bob Dylan wrote the song homie. -HECK! | |

| What? I thought Hendrix wrote it. Still, Bob or Hendrix, both dopers. | |

| Well, it could be a warning of something to come. Or, it was just the song that they decided to use for the show. There is no telling. But, those words that you quoted, Heck, could mean that there are people who aren't taking things seriously, but they have been though enough (which they have on NC) and they know that it's serious. And, that they know there is more to life then what is currently going on. There is more out there. The cylons (in human form) seem to have a deep spiritual belief in something. Something deeper, and far more serious then the humans have, or follow. - Quote :

| Also, I'm not sure about there being memories that will kick in or not. When Boomer finally found out, in season one, that she was in fact a cylon, did she get any memories? I don't remember that. | |
