McDonalds Angus Third Pounder

So I'm in a test market for this new creation from McDonalds called the Angus Third Pounder. Fors shits 'n giggles I decide to go online and find out the nutrional value for this and guess what it is: 760 calories, 370 calories from fat, 41 grams of fat, and 62 carbs. This makes me sick.

I can dig on some fast food but after looking at the nutrional value on the McD's website I am totally floored. Like a large french fries is over 500 calories. So imagine getting that Angus burger deal with fries... 1200+ calories, 70+ grams of fat. Ugh.

Yeah, but man, the health nazi's can stick it. That sounds like a damn good burger to me. Gotta try it at least once.

That's it, try it at least once, I reckon. If it sucks, just don't go for it again.

Maybe I'm a little jaded toward McDonalds, working there in high school and dumping a tray of Big Mac's on the floor and then selling them changes your outlook of the place.

Dude, that's just f'n wrong. WHY do they continue to make things that have such a high calorie count? And WHY do we (not me personally... but people, in general) keep going and purchasing this shit, and shoveling it into out mouths? Damn, SD is right... keep the defib near you, because you might need it.

Totally agreed Kris. But people will buy it still. Because in the ad's they have models pretending to eat this slop. Like that Carl's Jr. commercial with Hilton faking to eat that burger.

I am kind of guilty of getting lured in to this... I seriously want that Pastrami $6 Burger... haven't gotten it though.

Lord knows I don't eat healthy. After a drunk night there's nothing like a Del Taco burrito. But I try to skip the fast food as much as possible. But when I see like over-the-top things like this 1/3 pounder deal it makes me wanna hurl.

Actually, I'm not the healthiest of eaters... but, I work hard on it. I try to stay away from fast food. I try to eat a lot more veggies, and not too much red meat. I do better when I load up on veggies, and eat chicken (that's not fried, or something else that isn't too healthy).

I just saw a commercial, about an hour ago, for this burger, and I felt sick looking at it. It doesn't LOOK bad, but I know that it's bad for you... and I thought about those calories, and felt sick to my stomach.

I just have a stigman about McD's.

To me Carl's Jr. looks bomb all the time. A part of it must be personal preference but once you know the stats it's hard to get past it.

But, I LOVE Carl's Jr. They have much better burgers.

Still, I TRY hard to not go to places like that, too often, because of how bad it really is for you to eat. I need to lose weight... not gain another 30 pounds.

I likes me the pizza and need to grub down on occasion. There is this place in SD I like that has this giagantor slice for $2 or whatever. Bomb.

Where is this one? Is it on Balboa, off of Genesee, by Home Depot? Can't think of their name, but they are damn good.

Well, at least I know that we've got good taste in pizza.

I would go there, years back, with a friend of mine. We would purchase an extra large cheese pizza (which would BARELY fit into the car) and take it home for his three kids, wife, and the two of us. Damn good pizza.

I will try this new burger though someday, I aint no health nazi. I will eat it, implode the fat and calories it contains, and then eat some fries and a shake, then go back for some apple pie!!!
