| Sometimes the list changes (with some of the movies). These aren't in order... except for #1, because there is nothing better, in the world.
1. Star Wars (original HOLY trilogy) Though, Empire Strikes Back is my fav out of the three.
2. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
3. Meet Me in St. Louis
4. Cars
5. Mr & Mrs Smith
6. Life As A House
7. Matrix (first one)
8. Lord of the Rings (the entire trilogy)
9. Beaches
10. The Stand | |

| My list changes depending how much I really sit back and contemplate it. I could retire in the mountains for a decade and be no closer to the list I'm posting now...
So I am going to have to even post a Top 10 by genre since I am such a movie whore. I know it kind of goes against the topic I posted, but it's the only way I can post it. It would take to long to shave it down.
Anway...
My main are Comedy - Action/Adventure - Sci-Fi - Drama
Comedy 1.) Animal House 2.) The Big Lebowski 3.) Bachelor Party 4.) There's Something About Mary 5.) Old School 6.) Young Frankenstein 7.) The Toy 8.) National Lampoons: Vacation 9.) Forrest Gump 10.) Weird Science
Action/Adventure 1.) Die Hard 2.) Lethal Weapon 3.) Raiders of The Lost Arc 4.) The Princess Bride 5.) Tombstone 6.) Young Guns 7.) The Professional (Leon) 9.) Sneakers 9.) Top Gun 10.) Crimson Tide
Sci-Fi 1.) Star Wars (the entire holy triology) 2.) The Matrix 3.) Blade Runner 4.) Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan 5.) Back To The Future 6.) Tron 7.) Aliens 8.) The Terminator 9.) E.T. the Extra Terrestrial 10.) Planet Of The Apes
Drama 1.) The Usual Suspects 2.) Pulp Fiction 3.) Fight Club 4.) A Few Good Men 5.) Goodfellas 6.) Training Day 7.) Saving Private Ryan 8.) All The Presidents Men 9.) Rashomon 10.) Momento

I have Judy Garland, singing "Have Yourself A Merry Little Chistmas" as a ringtone on my cell phone. Only for the month of December. But, I have it saved. I love that movie, soooooooooooo much! Have you seen, "Tea For Two" with Doris Day? That's my second favorite old time musical movie. I want it on DVD, but you can only get it on VHS. Pisses me off.

| The Lord of the Rings Trilogy The Fugitive The Usual Suspects The Matrix Trilogy The Shawshank Redemption Trading Places The Weather Man (the subject matter is important to me.) Gladiator Stand By Me Pirates of the Caribbean 1 & 2 The Goonies
Ok, so that was actually 16 movies... I still haven't added movies like Scarface and Scent of a Woman, or even Devil's Advocate, or The Sixth Sense... There are too many for me to come up with quickly and effectively. There are other movies like Awakenings (if you like Life as a House, you'll like Awakenings), HEAT, Top Gun, MAGNOLIA, Boyz in the Hood, etc... Too many good movies that are worthy of the top 10...
