Season 8: 1:00AM to 8:00AM

Am I the only one still watching? This season sucks ass. The whole twist with that chick from Battlestar being evil was dumb as shit and doesn't make much sense considering what happened earlier in the night. I mean the point is, she's helping these terrorists (for what, I'm not sure. Money?). She helps her ex so he doesn't spill the secret about who she is, but if she's really evil he could either get one of the terrorists to bump the two of them, or just do them in herself. I mean she killed that one dude, she's obviously off the rails already... They need to get rid of her fast. She's annoying.

Sucks ass? I like it! Not bad at all.

I did like it when she went off and tried to escape from CTU by shooting all those guards and that. Overall though, I mean, I'm just not feeling the tension. The people within CTU are lame and pointless, and I can't believe the terrorists really handed over the dirty bomb when they got that president. I'd take both.

It did get better. Jack going rogue and going up against the president was pretty good. The way he's stayed on the run has been great. They should have dedicated more of the season to this kind of story line with everybody - EVERYBODY - going up against Jack. I mean it takes the entire world to take down Jack, no joke.

Still a bunch of stuff I wasn't that crash hot on, but what can I do? Seriously, I'm asking - what can I do? I mean, the thing with Renee... they were barely luke warm together, if I'm being honest. So the fact that Jack's gone bat shit over it doesn't feel real to me.

Tonight I'mma watch the finale. Actually, first I'm cooking myself a steak and then I'm going to watch the finale. Good times ahead. Stay tuned.

Okay, the way it ended....... well, yes, it ended. I don't know...

The way it seems to me is they weren't entirely sure it was the end of the show for good, so didn't do much with it. What happened? I dunno. But it seems like if there were to be a 9th season it would pick up exactly where the 8th left off. Jack trying to leave the country. President probably going up on charges of conspiracy (but people will obviously try to hush her before it gets that far).

I knew Logan would take the coward's way out. Seems to be his MO. Not much of an ending for any of the other characters in the show.
