(CNN) -- Nickelback really cares.
For its new single, "If Everyone Cared," the band is donating 100 percent of the proceeds from digital sales of the single and video, starting February 1, to Amnesty International and International Children's Awareness Canada.
The video tells the story of four notables: Band Aid and Live Aid's Bob Geldof, South Africa's Nelson Mandela, the late Amnesty International founder Peter Benenson and World Centers of Compassion for Children International founder, and Nobel laureate, Betty Williams.
"If Everyone Cared" comes from Nickelback's album "All the Right Reasons," which has sold more than 5 million copies.
