The trailer's good.

For a movie called "Funny People" the only funny person in it was Eric Bana. A few sniggering jokes here and there, some average stand up comedy routines, but overall the part with Eric Bana in it trumps the rest of the movie. The trailer has most of the best jokes from the other characters. Glad I didn't waste money on seeing it at the cinema.

Was supposed to be a drama though, not an average balls out comedy galore Apatow movie.

It's not a "drama". Schindler's List is a "drama".

It's supposed to be a comedy/drama and it isn't overly comedic or overly dramatic.

I rather like this movie. Adam Sandler was a complete and utter cunt like he was supposed to be, and Seth Rogen was onboard most of the way but could definitely see his limit. Eric Bana was brilliant, and it was good to hear him talking like a true blue dinky-dye aussie again. The crap he was going on about with the footy was probably adlibbed, because only a real aussie woudl come up with that shit about no helmets, no shoulder pads and shit.

But, no, it was quite a good movie. I thought for a while there it was sending the wrong message, but it worked out in the end.

And, I mean, James Taylor saying FUCK FACEBOOK! - that's brilliant.

I have really been looking forward to seeing this, just haven't been able to find it yet. Hope I can catch it this weekend.

Eric Bana was the only good thing about this movie. If he hadn't been in it, it would have been really average, but he lifted it, so I would possibly consider watching it again.

Eric Bana wasn't in it that much... I thought Seth Rogen was a good character, and the story was nice. It wasn't over the top funny, but I was expecting that already, so... yeah
