Honestly, I am in a very special secure corner of the music world. Haven't added a new song to my personal list for years. And by 'new' I mean a new song. I just keep adding older songs.

I think the business is being water downed by shitty American Idol, and woefully inundated by every group of assholes with a mic and a MySpace account.

Then we have established, so to speak, artists that become holier-than-thou with the music. Back in the day music acts were just last minute fodder for the Ed Sullivan Show. Now they talk politics. I say shut your fuckin' mouth and make with the singing.

The echoing reminds me of a Madonna song... but, can't remember which one it was.

It can't sound like anything because according to Kanye West "it sounds like nothing ever made before".

Bits and pieces sound like this and that. The distorted vocals a bit into it sounds like Madonna's Music, and when the marching band beat kicks in it sounds like Destiny's Child's Lose My Breath (plus a bunch of other tracks that have used the same thing since). Not sure if there's a bigger picture that you're thinking of (that it completely sounds like a whole other song).

It reminds me of something I'll think of it eventually. I was talking about this dude to Jamie the other day and can't remember who it was. Oh yeah, I said He was the Terrell Owens of Music. Or terrell Owens is the Kanye West of Football, how ever you want to put it.
