Still not finished. Jane or whatever her name is has started substituting at the school where Ian works, Albert kidnapped and tried to torture... May Beth? But she escaped through a window. That Albert is a pretty crappy serial killer. Very sloppy.

That whole thing with May Beth's mother pretending that she's her daughter so that dude can get his mack on was WAY weird.

YEah, that was way weird. There is so much weird stuff going on in that book though.

I guess so... taken me so long to read it... I remembered to bring it to work today though, so I can have a go at it.

It's far from being my favorite Laymon book so far, but it has some really 'out-there' stuff in it.

Yeah that's kinda how I felt about it. Maybe that's why I was thinking it was one of his earlier books, it's just way out there campared to the others ones I've read.

He kind of lost his stride around the late 90's 1999-2001 (when he died). But most of what came out in the 90's is brilliant. 80's stuff is hit and miss, I guess... but it's a lot weirder. So yeah, this book does read like it was something out of that era.

I finished this a week or so ago. The ending was kind of mad. I liked it. It makes me wonder if Lisa was nuts like Albert was, or she just wanted to torture and kill the motherfucker. Regardless, it was an interesting ending.
