Since there's no general Baseball Forum (boooo! hisssss!)....

I'm making a bet with my brother regarding baseball greats. So I need your help. Whether you're a big baseball fan, or just know a little about baseball in general, chime in.

In your opinion, who are the three all-time GREATEST players in baseball history, that are not currently playing. And please, don't just pick players from your favorite team. I mean, in general, in ALL of baseball history. Top three greats.

Three best players all-time? Great question.

In no particular order...

Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb and Hank Aaron.

There is no denying it, Ruth was probably the greatest player ever.

Ty Cobb was a massive racist, but on the field he was awesome.

Hank Aaron is the real home run king. The man was a machine.

I think Lou Gehrig, Cy Young and Willie Mays are right there, too. Personally, I am a big Sandy Koufax supporter since he was a Dodger.
