Milk thistle is some sort of herb that comes in capsules, you can pick them up anywhere from Wal Mart to Walgreens. One of Nick's friends is the doctor guy that does cat scans and those sort of things, and he told him to start taking that stuff to control liver damage from drinking. Everyone in this shop is a complete lush, so they all do it. I researched it before I bought him a bottle, and they were using it back a couple hundred years ago because it improves liver function. I guess the more efficently working liver can metabolise a lot more booze with less damage. Doctor guy says to take 1000 mg a day if you're a regular drinker and also take a multiple B vitamin and you'll have a happy liver.
