| https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1_VjxFTUmM Fairplay Sues Bonaduce Over FightBy RAQUEL MARIA DILLON – 2 days ago LOS ANGELES (AP) — Former "Survivor" contestant Jonny Fairplay sued Danny Bonaduce, alleging battery and emotional distress after Bonaduce tossed Fairplay over his shoulder at an awards show. The lawsuit, filed Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, also names the producers of the awards show, the Fox Reality Channel. Attorneys for Fairplay and for Fox Reality Channel declined to comment. It was unclear whether Bonaduce had retained a lawyer. Attempts to find a phone listing for him or a representative were unsuccessful. An after-hours e-mail message sent to Bonaduce at the Los Angeles radio station where he works was not immediately returned. Fairplay, whose real name is Jon Dalton, was presenting an award on stage at the Fox Reality Channel "Really Awards" on Oct. 2 when Bonaduce unexpectedly approached him on stage. When Fairplay ran and jumped into his arms, Bonaduce tossed him over his shoulder. Fairplay hit the floor head first and was hospitalized for injuries to his face and mouth. With Fairplay "on the ground and blood and broken teeth on the stage floor, Mr. Bonaduce proceeded to parade around the stage with pride," according to the lawsuit. A video of the incident captured the sound of the audience booing. Fairplay, 33, is suing for unspecified damages to cover medical expenses, emotional distress and lost earnings. He is also seeking punitive damages. After an investigation, the district attorney's office decided not to press charges against Bonaduce. Bonaduce did not intentionally injure Fairplay and his "actions fell within the realm of self-defense," Deputy District Attorney Jeffrey Boxer wrote last week. Fairplay appeared in the 2003 CBS show "Survivor: Pearl Islands" and came in third. Bonaduce, 48, was a child star on "The Partridge Family." He starred in the 2005 reality show "Breaking Bonaduce," and has recently co-hosted Adam Carolla's radio show. | |

I don't like Fairplay, he was a rat, and don't care for Donny either. I take both sides of this. I like how Donny tossed him for jumping on him, figure he had it coming, but after the deal went bad, and dude had his teeth on the floor, it wasn't cool anymore, it went bad, Donny should have helped him, or quit acting like a jerk. So, I hate Fairplay, but at the same time feel sorry for the dude, taking a fregin face dive into a hard hard floor and busting up his teeth and mouth like that.

| As much as I hate to agree with Bonaduce ever , I think he was 100% correct in both cases. 1 Some guy jumps on me and starts humping , a face full of stage is just the start. 2 Some guy acosts me whilst attempting to eat a peaceful lunch. Wont even leave after being told to f off, deserves a face full of stage as well. I guess he is lucky a stage wasnt handy at the time | |

| I listen to the Adam Carolla radio show every day, Bonaduce is a co-host and they talk about this incident a lot. Bonaduce isn't terrible on the radio. It's Carolla's show, and while Bonaduce has fleeting moments of not sucking, his mornonic comments or quips he passes as facts leave me shaking my head. With the Fairplay guy, I didn't watch Survivor at the time so he's not on my radar. I could give a shit about any reality show contestant to begin with. After watching the video this guy got what's coming. And if you're trying to extend your pseudo-celebrity another 5 minutes by hitching your wagon to Danny Freakin' Bonaduce's star, that's pretty bad. -HECK! | |

| He was the guy that said his grandma was dead, so he could get farther in the game, then bragged about it off camera. Pretty much the most hated player to ever play the game. | |

| Heard about that. Brilliant game strategy. But he's just a douche regardless. I think he was on an episode of Fear Factor and some chick punched him in the guy. Dude almost went down. I have a general dislike for reality show tools in the first place. I will make a list of so-called "celebrites" that I want on a rocket ship to Mars: 4.) Former child stars who won't go away 3.) Talentless rich whores famous for getting banged on videotape. 2.) Reality show contestants 1.) YouTube people -HECK! | |

| YouTube people suck royal chode. Especially the crying Britney Spears he/she fool. Is it we're that desperate for celebrity or have we lowered our standards so far we'll give just about anyone 15 minutes of fame? I suppose it was a natural progression. Real World started the reality craze. Then with YouTube anyone can end up being the next 5 minute wonder. It's just so funny, we have those MTV Jackass people who are rich for ramming each other with golf carts and wrestling in shit. Then there are 20-something-year-old girls that come from rich families, don't work a day in their life, have sex on video, then somehow sign autographs and walk down red carpets. The next sign of the television apocolypse is that Tila Tequilla show. This little asian chick is famous (and I once again use the term lightly) for being on MySpace. That's it. So she has this show with man-whores and whore-whores who are trying to 'win her heart' in a shitty VD game show. This comes off the heels of Brett Michaels ramming through a bunch of sluts. Not to mention there is this chick who was rejected by Flava Flav twice and now has a second season of a show where she combs through man-whores. Why do people watch this fucking shit? I'm not saying scripted television is always better. There are piles of crappy sitcoms that go on-air every year. But at least some creative thought went into it. Anway... I hope Bonaduce and Fairplay fight to the death on VH1. -HECK! | |

| What I don't like is you go to youtube, you watch some uptight weirdo post a video about how they are leaving youtube cause of some recent policy change, and they act like Larry Hagman has just left Dallas. Who gives a ****? Your leaving youtube? Why not leave already. Why the stupid video about how you are leaving. I think the site will tank here soon anyhow, it's all a bunch of nerdo wonders and what we all go there for, the illegal vids of movies and t.v. is about to get the ax with their new anti piracy software about to go online. So all the freak show peeps will be left, with no cool Tombstone vids, and then the whole house of cards will come a tumbling down. Maybe. | |

Maybe. Google Inc. has unveiled a test version of a much-awaited antipiracy system for its wildly popular yet controversial YouTube video-sharing site. The system, called Video Identification, has been far from a secret. Google executives have been mentioning its development since the company acquired YouTube in November of last year. YouTube, which lets people upload and share clips, is the most popular video site, but some angry video owners have taken the company to court alleging copyright infringement. The best-known plaintiff is global media conglomerate Viacom, which sued Google in March for US$1 billion over the unauthorized uploading of video clips from its TV shows and movies. In its complaint, Viacom alleged that, as of March, almost 160,000 of its video clips had been uploaded to YouTube without permission and had been viewed over 1.5 billion times. The antipiracy system became news in July, when an attorney representing Google in the Viacom case said during a routine hearing that Video Identification would be ready by September. When describing the system, Google has consistently stressed that it will not block videos from being uploaded, but rather take action, if necessary, after they have been added to the YouTube site. In other words, Google has never planned to place uploaded videos in a holding queue while it checks whether they can be made available on YouTube. Instead, Google will match uploaded clips against a repository of legitimate videos provided by their owners using digital fingerprinting technology and will take whatever action the copyright owner has requested, such as removing the clip or leaving it up on YouTube. In designing the system in this manner, Google has maintained that its policies exceed the requirements of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, as long as it removes from YouTube, upon request, illegally copied videos that owners don't want uploaded without their permission. That story didn't change on Monday, when Google described Video Identification in a blog posting and in a YouTube page. "Video Identification goes above and beyond our legal responsibilities. It will help copyright holders identify their works on YouTube, and choose what they want done with their videos: whether to block, promote, or even -- if a copyright holder chooses to license their content to appear on the site -- monetize their videos," David King, YouTube Product Manager, wrote in the blog post. For now, video owners interested in participating in the beta testing of the system need to submit a request to Google, but the company expects to make it broadly available as the testing progresses. "As we scale and refine our system, YouTube Video Identification will be available to all kinds of copyright holders all over the world, whether they want their content to appear on YouTube or not," the YouTube information page reads. It remains to be seen whether this highly anticipated system will help to appease those video content owners who argue that YouTube doesn't do enough to prevent and combat piracy on its site and that instead it profits from the unauthorized and illegal uploading of copyright clips.
