Hahaha, yeah, that's on the Evening With Kevin Smith DVDs. Pretty sure it's a true story, though, as he was hired to rewrite a Superman script at one point.

On an Evening With Kevin Smith 2, he was saying that producer who he was talking about was actually flattered by the things Kevin Smith said about him, though he was depicting as a complete nutbag. The artist currently known as Prince, on the other hand, was kinda pissed at what he said (his Prince story is hilarious, you gotta gotta look that one up).

I can understand not liking his movies. They're not everyone's cup of tea by a long shot. Yoyo kind of likes them, but she just likes to see Jay swearing for the most part.

I reckon you may get a kick or two out of Dogma, Dave - you seen it?

I saw about ten mintues of it, but I got bored and cruised. Never seen Clerks. I find the guy funny, but at the same time, he has this asshole look that irks me.

Fat people do that. Kevin Smith and Ricky Gervais are the first two I can think of that are funny and fat, but they look like dinks because of that extra weight, and thus you just think FUCK 'EM!

Kevin James is fat and funny, but he's got an innocent, teddy-bear look about him.

If you don't enjoy the first 10 minutes of Dogma, then I guess you won't like the rest. It has some really interesting stuff in it, and is pretty damn funny. I honestly wouldn't bother recommending Clerks to people who haven't already seen it...

I searched on youtube for the prince and Kevin Smith deal, couldn't find it. I found one where he says how Prince was mad about what he said on the DVD deal, but not the dvd deal itself...

I don't know, folks like Kevin Smith are like pepper, I like a little now and again, but I don't want a whole meal of just pepper. I can watch some now and then, but too much of him makes me feel cranky and angry, I guess cause he is ragging on folks, I enjoy it, but then it's all so adversarial, I just want to go watch something mainstream.

I don't know, a lot of mainstream comedy's been seriously disappointing lately. Not all of it, of course, but I mean... like what's with those Epic Movie and Date Movie movies? What the hell, man, BE FUNNY!

Up to Smodcast 31 now. There was one where they talked about Harry Potter recently. Pretty funny.

Episode 32 goes back to a topic they were talking about a few podcasts ago. A few weeks back a man (who's a state prosecutor or something) was arrested for trying to meet up with a woman so he could have sex with her 8 year old daughter (which was a police sting operation). He denied the claims, but has apparently successfully commited suicide.

Not an incredibly funny topic of conversation, but interesting enough. I agree with their "pff... who cares" frame of mind about the whole thing.

Yeah, I heard the SModcast where Smith started talking about it, haven't heard the update. Smith went off on this case for a while. It was a sad, terrible case, but hearing what Smith would like to do to the guy was funny. He was right on.

In the newest smodcast, he actually talks about some dude on his forums who was thought Smith was out of order. Seriously?!?! Who could really think shooting a child rapist in each limb and leaving him in the desert is wrong? I could do worse.

Totally, it seems pretty damned polite to let him off even that easily.

There are certain crimes that might be in the gray area, but not this.

I think Smith might have said it too, but I would let the parents of the kids he defiled decide the punishment. Unless they're retard hippies that want to let him off easy.

Episode 33 is out. Seems to have been recorded a month or two ago. Cracks me up when they're talking about Mewes wanting to buy these Star Wars figurines. I was in tears.

Sometimes I wonder how these guys remember stories so well. I mean, I can remember kick ass stories from back in the day, but these guy are like story after story after story. Incredible.

Episode 34 is the funniest yet. An hilarious story on Kevin swallowing a tooth and how his mum retrieved it.

I was thinking about that too. But I remember hearing them mention they don't drink so I can imagine the nights events are more vivid. Maybe Smith writes it down.

I tried to bring a tape recorder out with me when I party with my friends. All those cool conversations I thought we had turned out to be nothing more than incoherent ramblings sprinkled with a few racist comments.

35 was alright. Same guys as 34. They talked about medicinal marijuana and depression and that.

Smodcast 36 is Smith and Mewes. Mewes actually sounds alright. He used to be all over the place when I heard him talking, but he's sounding really mellow.
