Sushi is great.

I'd never had it til like a year or two ago

if you don't like the idea of raw fish, there's veggie sushi

First time I had Sushi was with Yoyo, in about 2001. We were on our way to see the Wizard of Oz stage production and passeda a sushi place. Since we hadn't eaten, she's like "let's try here." I was like "Wow! I love Sushi" deep inside thinking "just swallow it and she'll think you're cool."

It worked! Thankfully I liked it too.

Your birthday was the reverse of mine, I partied on down first and then went for sushi and beers (well the boys had beers, I had vodka redbulls) the next day.

I love sushi. Mmmmmmmm. Tuna sashimi is the best!

The only time Ive ever had sushi was before I started dating Sherry. I was in LA , my sister and her friends took me to some sushi place they loved. Here I am 20 years old , out to eat with a bunch of gorgeous models. I wouldve eaten dead rats stuffed with dog poo if they ate it first. Come to think of it, some of it did taste a bit like dead rats stuffed with poo, but I did my best to look kool. At the end of the night I had spent $150, drank a couple of bottles of Kirin (the highlight of the night) and lots of saki (tastes like lamp oil, but it washes away the taste of the food)



I did have some smoked eel in honey sauce that was really good though

Also, as of today, I have gone 5 weeks without alcohol. Next weekend, all bets are off. I think six weeks is way long enough to prove to myself that I can go long periods of time without it.

That's my excuse to myself anyway! :drunk:

5 weeks is good Marti, but celebrating 6 weeks with a drink is like the US celebrating its bi-centennial by rejoining England.

You should post what you wouldve drank and we will drink it for you. It is a sacrifice , but it is a sacrifice we are willing to make :drunk:

A friend of mine agreed with me and put it this way: "It's like when you're on a diet. You do so good for so long then you have a reward day and eat something you shouldn't."

Because, I wasn't quitting all together. Just slowing myself down. I was out of control drinking every other day.

Just in case though, the drink of choice is gonna be 99Cherry Schnapps.

:huh: YIK! I used to drink peppermint schnapps. Mostly because if you chew spearmint gum your teachers cant smell it on your breath, but thats another story.

As I write this I am sipping a Fat Tire amber ale. I didnt drink any when we were in Anaheim so I go some so I wouldnt feel left out. Its made by New Belgium brewing company of Fort Collins CO. Not bad, not bad at all :drunk:

woohooo we got tickets for the UEFA cup final, my team's biggest game in 36 years and we will be there. 100,000 fans going to Manchester that city won't ever be the same again.

Ron... that's where my brother lives. And I went to the New Belgium brewery with him. We did the tour (well, they let us walk it by ourselves) and then got a bunch of beer to try, for free. He got buzzzzzzed. I love their Sunshine beer (best with a slice of orange).

Sounds REAL KOOL! Must be nice to be within 2 hours drive of a professional soccer team, even if you do have to travel a bit to see the final

No doubt. I'll probably head off to watch it live on satellite at a nearby pub. Probably be around 2 o'clock in the morning here, so I'll miss the next day of work. Plus the alcohol. No doubt it'll be a good week.

It was a good beer, but I wish I'd started with it... 'cause after having a few beers I'd even call Heineken a good beer.
